I expected this to be straight-ahead documentation of one of Cirque’s shows. But it turned out to be a stand-alone story – as loosely constructed as their stage shows, with the narrative merely a scaffolding for the incredible costumes, sets, and acrobatics. From there, it was constructed of bits and pieces from several of their standing shows – O, Ka, Mystere, etc. A great introduction to CdS for newbies, a great review for veterans…
