INDIGO FILMS is an independent television production company with a long-standing reputation for developing and producing high-end documentary, reality, and investigative programming for cable television. Indigo Films was founded in 1997 by David M. Frank and is responsible for producing series such as TLC’s City Cops - filmed in both San Francisco and Las Vegas, Travel Channel’s America’s Most Haunted Places, and History Undercover for the History Channel.

Currently producing the miniseries Exploding History for National Geographic Channel, Boudica - Warrior Queen for the History Channel, and a variety of specials for Travel Channel’s World’s Best strand, Indigo Films is known for its dynamic storytelling, high-quality filming, and cutting-edge production styles. Indigo Films’ latest productions for National Geographic Channel and the History Channel will be shot in High Definition.

Past productions include programs and series such as Secrets of Ft. Knox, 3-2-1 Vegas!, and Top Secret Sites for the Travel Channel; JFK & PT-109: A Hero in Question, The Battle of Tripoli, and The Plot To Kill Nixon for the History Channel; Investigative Reports and Beyond Death for A&E and America’s Loch Ness Monster for Discovery Channel. Missing Files: The JFK Assassination was the highest rated show ever for the History Undercover series on the History Channel.

In 2002 and 2003, Indigo Films also collaborated with the National Park Foundation and Discovery Communications, Inc. to produce President’s Homes and Active Volcanoes.
